Andrea' Robinson
FOUNDER & CEO
Andrea’ has provided accounting services and solutions to a diverse clientele for over 17 years including serving as the Chief Financial Officer for a local non-profit. She finds great joy in getting small businesses off the ground and helping people gain greater control over their finances. Andrea’ enjoys working one-on-one with clients and being entrusted with their business finances so that they can focus on what brings them the most joy: building their brands and watching them flourish!
Andrea’ is a licensed Certified Public Bookkeeper, QuickBooks Online Certified Pro Advisor, and a member of the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers. Her extensive experience in the financial realm allows her to offer a variety of bookkeeping and financial services to owners of small businesses and non-profits.
Andrea’ grew up in Decatur, GA and graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Managerial Sciences. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing her saxophone, and creating adventurous memories with her daughter, Sanai’.
Michael Robinson
BOOKKEEPER
Michael is an Atlanta native with vast experience in client relations and funds management, as well as helping to operate multimillion-dollar retail stores like Ed Hardy, Original Penguin, and Invicta Watches.
With a Bachelor's degree in Art from Clark Atlanta University, Michael began his career in fashion. Working his way up into management, he became knowledgeable of finances and budgeting, leading him to Checkbooks where he thrives as the lead bookkeeper. Michael finds joy in providing top-notch assistance to Checkbooks' clients and ensuring that every task and project is treated with the urgency and priority they deserve.

An avid reader and trivia expert, Michael also enjoys singing, journaling, writing music, and traveling. His plans include continuing to pursue his love for music and helping take Checkbooks and its clients to the next level!
Ida De La Cruz
BOOKKEEPER
With seven years of experience as a bookkeeper for accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations, Ida handles the day-to-day recording of financial transactions. She is a graduate of DeVry University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems. Ida enjoys data entry and helping business owners stay in control of their finances. She is vigilant about keeping records and information confidential.

Ida is fluent in Spanish, and she is currently learning French and Haitian Creole. When she isn’t working, her husband and two teenage boys keep her very busy, but in her free time, she enjoys reading biographies and watching documentaries.
Anita Robinson
TAX PREPARATION EXPERT
With over 20 years of experience in tax preparation, Anita is an effective communicator, a team player, and a problem solver with an exceptional ability to organize effectively. Anita brings an open-minded approach to new clients and enjoys getting to know them as she guides them through a stress-free process.
With expertise in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program and Expeditionary Learning, Anita has taught in the City Schools of Decatur school system for over 30 years.
She holds a B.A. in English Literature from Agnes Scott College and a Master of Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix, as well as a certificate in the Science of Reading Program. A lifelong learner, she is currently enrolled in an associate-level course for Orton-Gillingham, an approach to teaching literacy skills for those who have difficulty with reading, writing, and spelling, specifically, individuals with dyslexia.
Checkbooks is easy to work with, detail-oriented, and goes the extra mile to explain accounting to us, as needed. We had no clue how to generate ad hoc member statements and yearly contribution statements. Checkbooks set forth a process for this with ease.
